"Very rustic little restaurant located off the beaten path. The owner was very friendly, and the place offers a variety of Thai local dishes as well as western dishes such as sandwiches and pizzas. The shrimp/crab cake was a highlight. Service was efficient, and the price was reasonable as well!"

"My friends and I came to Pooh and Friends twice during our stay in Phuket, and we absolutely loved it! The food tastes home-cooked, full of flavour, and made with care. The deep-fried fish with garlic and pepper and the pad kra pao beef were our favourites — both were perfectly cooked and delicious. The restaurant has a warm, family-oriented feel, with super friendly service and great value for money. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Thai food."

"Although I didn’t have time to dine here, they are happy to do takeaway as well. We had mango sticky rice and shrimp cakes, both delicious. Owners seemed nice as well. Food reasonably priced."

"Absolutely delicious food, very good English skills, and excellent service! We were offered mosquito spray and asked several times if everything tasted good and if we had any further requests. The owner also dried our scooter because it rained during our visit. Highly recommended! Very authentic, super friendly, and everyone speaks fluent English. Go there and see for yourself!"

"We read about Pooh & Friends before we left home and knew from the fantastic reviews that we just had to visit! We absolutely were not disappointed, it is fabulous The service, the authentic venue, the food - 10/10!!! As with anywhere in Thailand , if you want it spicy, you must ask "Thai spicy" .....we did AMAZING!!! And the price!!! 3 mains, 4 alcoholic drinks with mixers = equivalent to £20! Thank you Pooh - you just made some new friends"

"We visited Pooh and Friends on our first night in Bang Tao. We couldn’t have got luckier when we decided to take a 10 minute walk away from the main area. The food was fabulous, the service wonderfully personal and we felt we were investing in a local business. We strongly recommend for tasty, fresh food that is cooked to order and to enjoy a genuinely local experience."
